Street Naming Exercise: Phase 2 Begins Next Month

The Awka South Local Government Area is set to begin Phase 2 of its comprehensive street naming and house numbering exercise next month. This initiative aims to create a proper addressing system that will enhance emergency response, mail delivery, and urban planning.

Coverage Areas

Phase 2 will cover the following wards:

• Amawbia Ward I & II
• Nibo Ward I, II & III
• Ezinato Ward
• Isiagu Ward
• Umuawulu Ward

What Residents Need to Do

Residents in the affected areas are advised to:

1. Register their streets if not already registered
2. Ensure their houses are properly numbered
3. Update their address records with relevant authorities
4. Cooperate with enumeration officers
